NEONCard / Field guide

Choose the right format for your gift card

NEONCard asks you to select Physical Gift Card or E-Gift Card after choosing a card entry. This choice describes the card you received, not the device you use to submit it. A photograph of a plastic card is still evidence for a physical card; a digitally delivered redemption code belongs under the e-gift format.

Physical cards need readable physical evidence

A physical card has printed details that may be spread across its front, back, or accompanying material. Photograph the relevant sides with the card flat and the text in focus. Do not assume a picture showing only the brand logo explains which particular card and balance you are offering.

For physical Visa, Mastercard, and OneVanilla selections, the form requires at least two files and specifically asks for front and back pictures. Visa-branded retailer selections also fall under that check. A single collage may contain two views, but it is still only one file and will not satisfy the form's two-file count.

Digital cards need the actual delivery details

An e-gift is described in the form as a digital gift card received via email. Locate the original gift card message or redemption page and capture the actual card information. An order confirmation that merely says a gift was purchased may not show the details needed to understand the card.

E-gift Visa, Mastercard, and OneVanilla selections ask for an image showing full redemption information, including the card number, expiration date, and CVV. Treat that image as sensitive. Submit it through the exchange workflow, not in a public post or in response to an unsolicited message.

Format does not mean condition

Physical versus digital and Brand New versus Partially Used are separate choices. A digital card can have been used, and a physical card can be unused. Describe its actual history and balance rather than assuming that a delivery format proves its condition.

Some brands disable Partially Used in the form. The Terms of Service also describe unused cards, so contact support if condition eligibility is unclear. Printing an e-gift or taking a screenshot of a physical card does not remove the card's restrictions or create a different product.

  • Choose the format that matches the original card.
  • Check condition separately from delivery format.
  • Use distinct files for required physical front and back views.
  • Review the evidence list before pressing Submit.

Use the same careful final checks

Both formats require completed uploads, card details, account name, payout information, and acceptance of the terms before submission. JPG, PNG, GIF, and PDF files are supported up to 10MB each. If you cannot identify the format or read the delivery information, ask support before selecting an answer solely to proceed.
