The details, before you trade

Good questions.
Clear answers.

From choosing your card to following a submission, here is what to check at each step. For a closer look, explore our gift card guides.

Signup and account access

Do I need an account to submit an exchange?

The exchange interface prompts you to sign in before continuing with payout details. Transaction history and contact chat also require sign-in. You can inspect card selections and request a quote before that sign-in prompt.

What information does signup ask for?

Signup asks for your name, email, phone number, password, and password confirmation. Use accurate contact information and an email inbox you can access because the next step sends an email verification code.

How do I verify my email?

After sending the signup form, enter the six-digit code delivered to your email in the verification step. Successful verification creates the account and takes you to the exchange page. Keep the code private.

What should I do if the verification code does not arrive?

Check the email address and your spam folder, then use the resend option if needed. Read any resend or verification error, including instructions to wait before trying again. Contact the published support email if you remain unable to complete signup.

What is the password requirement?

The signup form requires at least six characters and matching password confirmation. Use a longer, unique password rather than treating the minimum as a security recommendation. Do not share account passwords or reset codes with anyone.

Choosing and submitting a gift card

How do I find the right card entry?

Search the card selector by name and choose the entry matching the actual product. Check qualifiers such as the Apple Gift Card US-only label. If the exact product or region is unclear, ask support rather than choosing a similar entry.

Does a listed brand mean every card from that brand is accepted?

No. A brand listing does not establish eligibility for every product, region, currency, condition, or individual card. A quote is a calculation, while a submission still requires review.

Can I submit a partially used gift card?

The form offers Partially Used for some selections but disables it for Apple, Amazon, eBay, iTunes, Uber, Airbnb, and Instacart. The terms also describe unused cards. Ask support if your card's condition is uncertain, and never mark a used card as Brand New to bypass a restriction.

What minimum value applies?

Minimums vary by card selection and appear in the form; a below-minimum quote request can return an error. The Terms of Service also discuss minimum limits. Check the current product's displayed minimum and ask support if the form and published wording leave a question unresolved.

What details are needed before Submit is enabled?

The form checks the gift card number, security code, account name, payout details, required uploaded files, completed upload processing, and accepted terms. Physical Visa, Mastercard, and OneVanilla selections require at least two files rather than one.

Can I choose a currency or country in the exchange form?

The form does not have a separate currency or issuing-country selector. Check the card's own restrictions and ask support before treating a foreign-currency amount as the displayed dollar value. Do not assume a quote resolves regional eligibility.

Quotes and exchange rates

How is the quoted payout calculated?

The quote multiplies the entered card value by the exchange rate. The quote screen displays Gift Card Value, Exchange Rate, and You'll Receive separately so you can check the calculation before proceeding.

Is an 'Up to' rate a guaranteed payout?

No. Review the actual quote for your entered product and value. A brand tile's 'Up to' wording is not proof of individual card acceptance, and the terms allow exchange rates to change.

Does getting a quote verify my gift card?

No. A quote does not establish ownership, activation, available funds, authenticity, readable evidence, or region compatibility. Those questions are separate from calculating a percentage of the value you enter.

Should I use an old quote for a new trade?

Request a current quote and review its figures rather than relying on a previous trade or screenshot. The recorded amounts for an existing transaction are the relevant figures when discussing that trade with support.

What charge applies to an e-gift card payout?

An e-gift card payout has a 2.5% charge deducted from the cash-equivalent quote. The remaining amount must be worth at least $20 USD. The quote shows the charge and, for EUR or GBP, the latest published daily currency conversion rate and final face value before you submit. Cash payouts do not incur this additional e-gift exchange charge.

Photos, files, and digital evidence

Which upload file types are accepted?

The form's validation accepts JPG, PNG, GIF, and PDF. Each file must be no larger than 10MB. If your device uses another format, export a supported file rather than just renaming its extension.

Is at least one upload required?

Yes. The form requires at least one file before submission, even where explanatory copy calls extra photos optional. Certain physical prepaid-card selections require two files for front and back.

When are front and back pictures required?

Physical Visa, Mastercard, and OneVanilla selections, including Visa-branded retailer variants, require at least two files with front and back pictures. Upload separate files with distinct names rather than relying on one combined image.

What should an e-gift attachment show?

Capture the actual digital card details from the delivery source. E-gift Visa, Mastercard, and OneVanilla entries explicitly ask for full redemption information: card number, expiration date, and CVV. Keep those images private and submit them through the exchange workflow.

Is a receipt required for every trade?

The upload instructions describe the receipt as optional. Keep it available as supporting documentation, but do not use a receipt instead of required card views or assume that it guarantees acceptance.

Why did an attachment disappear when I added another file?

The upload list replaces an existing attachment when another selected file has the same filename. Use distinct names for front and back views and check the final file count before submission.

What should I do after an upload error?

Read the error, check the file type and 10MB size limit, and select corrected files again. Wait until processing finishes and verify the listed attachments. For repeated failures, tell support the exact message, file type, size, and device without posting the card image publicly.

Payouts and transaction tracking

Which payout methods does the form list?

The form lists PayPal, Cash App, Zelle, Google Pay, Apple Pay, Chime, Greendot, and Bank Transfer. Check the available options when you trade and ask support if your receiving account or location may have restrictions.

What details does Bank Transfer require?

Bank Transfer uses separate account-number and routing-number fields. Verify the details using your own bank's information. A bank login password or payment-card number is not a substitute for the requested payout details.

Can I reuse saved payout details?

The interface supports selecting saved payment methods and offers a save option for new details. Check a saved destination before reuse; its presence does not prove that the information is still current or correct.

Where do I check a submitted exchange?

Sign in and open Transactions. Match the card name, value, creation date, payout method, and reference to the trade you are checking. Read the current status and any reason shown.

Does Processing mean my card was approved or paid?

No. Pending submissions can move into Processing automatically. That label alone does not establish successful verification or receipt of payment. Check the transaction explanation and your receiving account, or ask support about the specific trade.

What if my trade shows Rejected or Failed?

Read the recorded status reason if available. If it is missing or unclear, contact support with the reference and exact wording. Do not assume a generic label identifies the cause or that submitting the same card again will resolve it.

Is there a guaranteed payout arrival time?

This FAQ does not guarantee an arrival time. The submission confirmation ties payout to successful card verification. Track the particular trade and confirm any unresolved processing or payment-receipt question with support.

What if I submitted the wrong payout destination?

Contact support promptly with the transaction reference and explain the mistake. Do not assume that changing details in another exchange edits the existing trade. The customer interface does not provide a general editing guarantee.

Security and support

Should I share my full gift card code in a support question?

Start with the transaction reference, product name, value, and exact issue rather than automatically sending redemption details. Provide required card details in the exchange form, and ask support how to supply any additional evidence safely.

How do I start a support chat?

Sign in and open Contact Support. A new conversation requires a subject and message. Keep related follow-ups in the conversation where possible, and use the site's published support email if you cannot access your account.

What information helps support investigate a trade?

Include the account email, transaction reference, card name, submitted value, date, payout method, current status, any reason, and a clear question. For a form error, include the step and exact message. Never include your account password or verification code.

What should I do if someone unexpectedly asks for my card details?

Pause and verify the request through channels you reach independently from the NEONCard site or the issuer's official resources. Do not trust a logo or urgent message alone. Preserve suspicious messages and report them without exposing the redemption code publicly.

Where can I ask about my data or privacy rights?

Read the published Privacy Policy for its description of information handling and data requests, and use the support contact listed there for questions. Do not assume card images are deleted immediately after a trade or that a privacy request has a guaranteed completion time.
